About

Combining supervised exercise, education, and load management across 8 weeks. No two shoulders are the same — sessions are tailored to the specific factors driving your pain, restoring stability and function while equipping you to self-manage long term.

Is this for you?

You've been diagnosed with a rotator cuff tear, tendinopathy, bursitis, impingement, or an unresolved frozen shoulder.

You're experiencing shoulder pain, weakness, or reduced range of movement affecting lifting, reaching, carrying, or sleep.

You've been told surgery might be your only option and want to explore rehab first.

You want a structured, supervised program, not a generic exercise sheet.

What's included?

  • In-depth initial assessment to understand your personal goals and design a plan.

  • Educational resource pack breaking down the research — myths, misconceptions and the critical role exercise plays in your recovery.

  • 12 x small group exercise sessions with a physio-led program tailored to you.

  • Reassessment and 12-month plan to maintain your progress and advance the benefits you've seen throughout the program.

What to expect

Week 1 – 2

Assessment & Pain Management

Initial assessment and gentle, pain-guided movement to reduce irritation and rebuild confidence.

Week 3 – 4

Building Strength

Progressive strengthening of the rotator cuff and surrounding shoulder muscles.

Week 5 – 6

Restoring function

Functional movement patterns reintroduced — lifting, reaching, and overhead work.

Week 7 – 8

Consolidation & Plan Ahead

Reassessment and a clear plan for maintaining strength beyond the program.

Around 70% of shoulder pain

involves the rotator cuff and it responds well to targeted, evidence-based rehab.

Exercise therapy is recommended

as a first-line treatment for rotator cuff-related shoulder pain in current clinical guidelines.

Early, supervised movement

reduces the risk of long-term stiffness and re-injury.

Group exercise timetable

You'll need to participate in 12 physio-led exercise sessions across the 8 weeks.
